Gemini compatibility with The Other Signs

Gemini compatibility is very dependent on communications and the mind.  Gemini is a very communicative, bright, and outgoing sign.  It is ruled by the planet Mercury, who in mythology was the Messenger of the Gods.  Mercury was also known by being quite a prankster and beguiler.  In relationships communication and being able to talk about varied subjects is important, they look for people they can interact with.

Some people say that Gemini’s are pretty superficial at times; not wanting to go too deeply into things, but that is a mistaken overgeneralization itself.  Gemini’s forte is versatility, adaptability, and bridge-building; especially in the intellectual or verbal realm.  They can be just as deep as anyone, but they are focused on moving life along at a good pace. 

Gemini’s weak point is thinking they are in the “dark” about things, that they don’t know enough, or that they haven’t investigated something enough; therefore they talk, read, and study things non-stop, filling themselves with many, many details about life, but losing the big picture.

Gemini is in polarity with Sagittarius, who forms a perfect complement to his/her over analysis of everything; they help Gemini’s keep focused on the bigger issues.  Conversely, Gemini helps Sagittarius to not get “lost in the clouds” with its ideas, helping them to validate and confirm their lofty convictions.

Traditionally Gemini is compatible all the other air signs: Libra and Aquarius; and it may be more problematical with Virgo and Pisces.  Gemini is also compatible with the fire signs: Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius; but it is wishy-washy with Scorpio and Capricorn. Gemini compatibiilty can be easily understood.
