Capricorn Compatibility with the Other Signs
Capricorn compatibility is dependent on a number of things. First of all you need to understand what Capricorn is all about; it is ruled by the planet Saturn, which is a harsh influence at times. Capricorn is about testing, hardness, and being able to produce substantial, significant results in a dependable way; it is very “hard working” and socially conscious, it wants to do the “right thing”.
Capricorn has at times an expectation of difficult thing happening; and it is very shrewd, calculating, and organized. If Capricorn can see your dedication to a greater thing and your seriousness of demeanor, then he/she will respect you. Conversely, if you can appreciate their hard working attitudes; you have a reasonable expectation of a good relationship. 
Capricorn’s weak point is his/her sense of adequacy; if he/she thinks they’re not “good enough” or socially acceptable in whatever way, there is no amount of overcompensating hard work that will be good enough to prove how upright and “respectable” they are. Capricorn is in polarity with Cancer, and if they can manage to not blame the other person for their problems, they can form a very dynamic relationship. Capricorn keeps things externally and upwardly focused for Cancer, and Cancer helps Capricorn keep sensitive to the emotional needs of others on their way up.
Traditionally Capricorn compatibility is with all the other earth signs: Taurus and Virgo, and it is also compatible with all the water signs: Cancer and Pisces; there is a so-so type of compatibility with Gemini, Leo and Sagittarius; and there can be real problems between Capricorn and Aries, Cancer, and Libra.
